What It Does
Analytics scripts such as Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Shopify web pixels listen for every tap and click on your store. When a shopper taps, the browser runs their tracking code first, and your store has to wait before it can respond.
The Responsiveness Booster lets your store respond first. Tracking code runs right after the store updates the screen, so shoppers see the result of their tap sooner and the event is still recorded. Link clicks and form submits, such as Add to Cart, are left untouched.
Why It Matters
A store that hesitates after a tap feels broken. Shoppers tap again, open the wrong menu or give up. Analytics code is one of the most common causes of that delay on Shopify stores, because most stores run several tracking scripts at once.
Google measures this delay with Interaction to Next Paint (INP), a Core Web Vital. A good INP score is 200 milliseconds or less, and poor scores can hold back your search rankings.
Faster Interactions
Menus, buttons and product options respond as soon as shoppers tap them.
Better INP Scores
Improve INP for better Core Web Vitals performance and search rankings.
Tracking Still Works
Analytics events are still sent, just a moment later, after your store has responded.
